When you add Varnish to your shared web hosting package, you’ll be able to select the maximum amount of memory that will be at your disposal for caching purposes and the number of the websites that will use Varnish. You can always add more memory in increments of 32 megabytes and, for optimal performance, you can allocate a dedicated IP address to the websites that will use Varnish. This will enable you to get the most out of your sites and to have a lot of gratified site visitors.
Varnish in Semi-dedicated Hosting
Varnish is a feature, which comes by default with all Linux semi-dedicated hosting packages offered by us and you can use it for load balancing purposes. It is available in your Hepsia Control Panel. The Varnish platform comes with 64 MB of system memory for cached content storing purposes and you can employ it with any Internet site that you host in your semi-dedicated account. In case you are in need of more than that, you can increase the memory allocation. The memory itself is offered in increments of 32 megabytes through the Control Panel’s Upgrades section. The exact same section will allow you to enable more instances as well, if you want to use the Varnish platform with multiple websites. The two things can be ordered separately – you can cache the content of a single traffic-heavy site or use a number of sites with the default memory. You can take full advantage of Varnish in case you use a dedicated IP and you can order one with your semi-dedicated server package as well. The Hepsia Control Panel will grant you total control over the caching platform and, with no more than one single mouse click, you will be able to clear the cached content, to view a log file or to restart an instance.
Varnish in VPS Web Hosting
You can take advantage of Varnish with each of our virtual private server packages at no additional cost, as the platform is pre-installed and is included by default. The sole prerequisite is that the virtual machine must come with the Hepsia hosting Control Panel, through which you will be able to activate Varnish for any of your websites with just a few mouse clicks. Each Virtual Private Server plan offers a different amount of system memory for caching purposes, but you will have at least several hundred MB, which is quite enough even for multiple resource-heavy sites. Shortly after you set up Varnish, it’ll begin caching the content that your visitors open, so you’ll notice the much better page load times and the reduced server load in no time. The platform will allow you to use a less pricey Virtual Private Server, as you won’t need that many resources to sustain the proper operation of your Internet sites even if you manage large-size Internet sites with multiple visitors. Maximum results are achieved if the Internet sites which use the Varnish caching platform use also a dedicated IP address.
Varnish in Dedicated Servers Hosting
If you order a dedicated server with the Hepsia Control Panel, you will acquire the Varnish platform at no additional fee and you’ll have complete control over it through an exceptionally easy-to-use GUI – you’ll be able to start, to stop or to restart an instance, to view a detailed log, to clear the cached data for any site and much, much more. Varnish will have several GB of memory at its disposal, so even if you’ve got traffic-heavy sites with many visitors, you will notice the much faster website loading times and the reduced load on your dedicated machine. This will happen soon after you begin using Varnish, as it will require a certain amount of time to cache the web pages that people open. You can get the most out of the platform’s capability if the websites that are using it also use a dedicated IP address, but owing to the fact that your dedicated server includes several IP addresses by default, you will not need to pay anything on top of your monthly fee for the server itself.
